    @azuthian, http://ur1.ca/42teb & http://ur1.ca/16bas are my # comments that I believe still apply.

    @fontana, worst part about taking # is that you get # as a side-effect. Although, you fortunately get first-class closures, too.

    @sandersch,IMO saying # is "misguided" is wrong word;It's more of a "wrong priority item to work on right now" & mistake to encourage C#

    @hub, I think you've not read my blog post. The argument is trying to quell those who are being negative toward now unemployed # devs.

    I wonder if those opposed to *all* # development are also opposed to libav/ffmpeg development too: # issue virtually same in both.

    @jbeatty, I'd agree that being employed writing proprietary software is bad, but most # # devs *were* writing !FaiF software.

    @manish,my worry is, as I pointed in blog post, that I think some people missed subtle point of # issue; exactly ppl I'm trying to reach

    @lorddrachenblut, # isn't pointless. It's less important than # developers proclaimed, but it was still worth doing even if risky.

    @azuthian, If you think that I'm an apologist for #, then you haven't understood the nuance & subtlety in my position & writing.

    @jbeatty, that's an issue we can discuss, but it's completely unrelated to the issue of whether # developers are employed.

    @jbeatty,IMO you're exaggerating that risk. Risk is only to sw written using # & # itself, which only means: limit what uses Mono!

    @ciarang, Thanks, I updated my blog post on # developer firings to note that it's not !FaiF on !Android: http://ur1.ca/42teb

    @gnufreex, if you can find the dent, I'll reread thread. I've been #'ed on this issue, but AFAIK not by an *actual* # developer.

    @azuthian, Roy is a very polarizing figure who attacks a lot of people himself. Surely not a good example if you wanna criticize # devs.

    @azuthian, those writing # are free software developers. They're doing something useful even if not as useful as they thought.
